Bynder becomes first Dutch company to introduce unlimited vacation policy

Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Moving towards more flexible working hours, Bynder, branding automation company, becomes the first Dutch company to introduce an unlimited vacation policy, following companies like Netflix, Prezi and HubSpot.

Bynder’s CEO and Founder, Chris Hall, announced the unlimited vacation policy at Bynder’s end of the year team meeting. “Providing unlimited vacation time reflects the value we have for our employees. No matter where they are in the world, we believe in giving our people more freedom when it comes to a better work-life balance” says Hall.

With more and more tech companies adopting an unlimited vacation policy, Bynder will implement this policy across all their offices for all employees, including their office in Boston. According to MarketWatch, the average American uses only 51% of their eligible paid vacation.

While some companies have found that offering unlimited vacation days has in fact limited their employees, Bynder has set a base vacation entitlement to make sure that policies are concrete and all employees get the time off they deserve.
