AMSTERDAM—August 16, 2022— Bynder, the global leader in Digital Asset Management (DAM), is pleased to announce the appointment of James Bodha as Chief Operating Officer to lead the company’s worldwide operations and strategy execution. Bodha is a seasoned technology leader with an impressive track record of scaling fast-moving entrepreneurial, private equity and VC-backed businesses, as well as US and European-listed organizations.

“James’ unmatched breadth of operational and strategic skills in driving growth together with his deep experience at the forefront of real-time digital engagement make him a great fit to help Bynder accelerate from the $100m ARR business we are today,” said Bob Hickey, CEO at Bynder. “I am delighted he has chosen to join our team of dedicated Byndies as we embark on the next exciting phase of our journey.”

“As a category leader in Digital Asset Management, Bynder has the scale as well as a great track record of innovation to help enterprises manage and leverage the explosion in content arising from the proliferation of digital channels and the unprecedented consumer shift to online,” said James Bodha. “I am looking forward to working with Bob and the team to build on the fantastic success to date and help Bynder extend on its existing leadership in the Digital Asset Management space and become a dominant Digital Commerce Enablement player.”

Prior to Bynder, James led the Executive team at Thunderhead for over 6 years, from a start-up to an established market leader in the emerging category of Customer Engagement, overseeing the company’s sale to Medallia, a Customer Experience pioneer, in February 2022. Before this, he was instrumental in the scale up and ultimate sale of Smart Communications, a leader in Customer Communications Management to Accel-KKR in 2016, having served as CFO for 3 years. James has held a number of Executive roles with global software providers including Socialbakers (now Emplifi), Myriad Group AG, Aircom International, Openwave and Anite Plc.

Bynder has seen eight straight quarters of 25%+ growth and recently announced that the company had reached $100 million USD in annual recurring revenue. With the addition of James to its talented Executive team, Bynder is well-positioned to execute on its plans to accelerate growth and extend its market leadership through sustained innovation.
