Bynder launches new CMS connector and enhancements across product suite

AMSTERDAM - August 23, 2021 - In its latest product upgrade, Bynder, the global leader in digital asset management, announced the launch of a new CMS connector, eGO CMS. The recent release also enhances the image editing capabilities in DAT, streamlines the Android mobile user experience, search capabilities and streamlined capabilities across Brand Guidelines.

Bynder’s latest integration by Tobania allows brands to connect Bynder with the eGo CMS to use Bynder assets across web experiences managed in eGo, ensuring the latest asset version is always displayed. Bynder’s latest upgrade also enhanced its Episerver connector to include a simpler implementation of Bynder’s Dynamic Asset Transformation (DAT) with a script to automate SQL migration. Lastly, Bynder enhanced its Drupal connector to include support for responsive images, functionality to support Drupal media translations for SEO purposes, and a simpler implementation of Bynder’s Dynamic Asset Transformation (DAT) with the ability to set DAT parameters from within Drupal settings.

Bynder’s Dynamic Asset Transformation (DAT) allows users to automatically transform and optimize content to support great digital experiences. The latest upgrade provides users with additional options for transformations with new filters, image borders and overlay box.

The following upgrades streamline and enhance the user experience across Bynder modules:

  • More Intuitive Search - Bynder introduced a new “Search Help” option available directly within the search dropdown menu. This option gives search tips for users to easily navigate searching within Bynder and find exactly what they need when they need it.
  • Android Native Sharing - Upgrades to a more consolidated and easier sharing experience by sharing to other platforms without leaving the app and sharing directly from the asset detail view and asset screen.
  • Upload to Brand Guidelines Direct from Desktop - Users can now upload straight from your desktop onto the guidelines page, without files getting published into the DAM
  • Image Layer Blend Modes - To support more creativity and flexibility for template designs within Studio, Bynder now supports blend modes including multiply, overlay, soft light, and hard light for Photoshop and Sketch.
